FMP New brief

This is a self driven but technically live brief. As secured within the UK burlesque scene, slowly but surely I have began receiving more and more requests for personal performer commissioned artwork, at first these were just the odd one or two that I didn't really see as perhaps a solid source for work (and income) but over the past few weeks the number has begun to increase so I have decided to turn these into a live brief.

- Create a selection of performer portraits.
- Originally hand drawn.
- Digitally finished.
-Working towards a series of specs and details as requested by the client (the performer)
- All commissions are paid work.

One of the first pieces I created was that for compere extraordinaire Lady Voix de Ville, the specs were to create a decadent and lavish coat of arms representing her as the central figure surrounded by furs, folliage and ladies.

Some of the photos I worked with  as reference -

This was the original design with no colour, I wanted to use the banners to create more a sense of coat of arms for the piece using the female figures.

The colour version with the added type. The client was incredibly pleased with the final result!
