Milk Dev.

After a successful and helpful crit with fellow studio members, one of the concerns that arose was the character design of the Milk packaging, specifically the design of the eyes, a few people mentioned they couldn't work out wether the eyes were staring open or closed, so due to this I decided to experiment with the design of the eyes.

Playing with patterns

Although I proposed the pattern to be a pattern of all the illustrations I have created together, I'm currently experimenting with patterns of the images as single illustrations.

Playing with the colour, this is my first attempt at experimenting with the colour for these images, I will continue to ex. even more as I continue to develop the pattern ideas!

New Brief! Paper Product Brief

Beginning my new paper product brief to create a design (or possibly more than one) to apply to a range of paper products including greetings cards, gift wrap, and gift bag/tags, I decided to persue my first and initial idea and create something twee and quirky based on English animals in an old English style, below, some of the initial drawings.

National Portrait Dev.

Having left the brief for far too long after 'falling' out with due to not feeling particularly enthusiastic towards it, I've decided rather than to leave it open and unfinished, I've decided to change the format into something of more high impact rather than the current pamphlet I was working on. This will enable me to create something with a fast turnaround as I feel I've already perhaps wasted enough time avoiding resolving this brief.

I've decided instead of the pamphlet to create a selection of hanging banners to placed in and around London advertising to the public the same initial idea as the pamphlet did, to promote short visits to the gallery.
